Celebrate World Environment Day by joining in the restoration of the Red Gum Grassland in Elation Conservation Reserve, Doreen. The reserve is situated between Plenty Gorge Parklands and new housing developments and provides important refuge for native animals in the area.
Help establish native shrubs, wildflowers and grasses in the reserve which will complement the 200-year-old Red Gums and encourage native birds, reptiles and small mammals.
Please wear sturdy shoes and bring a hat and rain coat if required. Tools and gloves supplied. Morning tea will be provided.
