Northern Grasslands Planting

  • Start Time: 10am - midday
  • Meeting Point: Follow the signs from corner of Liberty Parade and Dougherty Street, Heidelberg Wests

At last the Friends of Darebin Creek can resume its work of supporting the bushcrews with planting. Tom, Ranger at Banyule Council has 2000 Themeda Triandra (Kangaroo Grass) that he wants to be able to put in the ground on Sunday 28th.
We can only have 20 people and we already have a small number committed to attending.
If you would like to attend please RSVP to friendsofdarebincreek@gmail.com

Tom will pre-drill the holes, so hopefully we can get all of the grasses in the ground.
Because of COVID we cannot offer you gloves or refreshments, but Tom will take us for a bit of a walk and talk about the extraordinary northern grasslands where the volcano lava came to a halt.
This is a great little outing and I look forward to seeing 20 of us, so RSVP as soon as possible.
