Held as part of the Banyule, Manningham and Nillumbik councils’ Spring Outdoors Festival, this walk is a chance to learn about the precious local grassland ecosystem and enjoy spotting a diverse range of colourful wildflowers.
Join the Banyule Bush Crew and Friends of Darebin Creek to enjoy a walk in the amazing Banyule Northern Grassland Reserve.

Most of the remnant vegetation within the reserve belongs to the ecological community Grassy Eucalypt Woodland of the Victorian Volcanic Plain. It is listed as endangered under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, with less than 5% of this ecological community remains.
