The Victorian Container Deposit Scheme was launched on 1 November where plastic bottles and cans can be returned for 10c.

The Friends of Darebin Creek have now been set up as a community group to receive donations in the North Zone. Simply collect eligible items and scan the barcode below when taking them to a refund point. The dollar amount will then be automatically donated to FoDC and be put towards activities that will protect and restore Darebin Creek.

We hope that this will encourage the reduction of plastics in our waterways.
