The Friends of Darebin Creek was formed in 1994 to protect, restore and conserve the Darebin Creek and its adjacent parklands as a natural environment for the enjoyment of the community.

The Rezzadent Article

Read our article in the May 2023 edition of The Rezzadent. ‘Planting for the Future’ covers the revegetation of the Arch Gibson Reserve in Kingsbury.

Revegetating Darebin Creek

The community group Friends of Darebin Creek is working with other groups to revegetate the Darebin Creek where it flows through Reservoir, Kingsbury and Bundoora.

South African Weed Orchid alert

Darebin Bush Crew are currently dealing with a cluster of South African Weed Orchids, which they have found in an area near the La Trobe Uni footbridge.
