Feel the sweet love at our 2026 Planning Day, which our members and friends are invited to join in on.

While attending a planning day may not sound too exciting, this one will be different.

We’ll start, at 10am, by talking about the potential for us to volunteer to collect seed and grow plants for revegetation along the creek with Darebin Parklands staff and Friends of Darebin Parklands volunteers – a potentially very rewarding and satisfying activity, which could add a new dimension to the vital work we do.

A rough outline of the day’s activities is:

• Growing our own plants,
• Planned activities and events in 2026, including some work in new places,
• Lunch – BYO with a plate to share, and
• Opportunities to collaborate with Friends of Darebin Parklands.

We intend to keep all sessions as interactive as possible with opportunities for you to express your views about the Friends and our work. You may just have the best idea we haven’t yet heard and we’d love you to share that.
